Positive psychology represents a shift from treatment to prevention and explores how positive emotions can make it easier to thrive and function well – both at work and in everyday life.
In this workshop, participants will gain:
Insight into how stress reactions often occur unconsciously and can negatively impact thinking, well-being, and relationships
Knowledge of how prolonged stress can create physiological imbalance, inflammation, and exhaustion in the nervous system
Understanding of how emotions are closely linked to the autonomic nervous system and constitute an underutilized resource in stress management
Participants are introduced to methods from positive psychology that can be applied to prevent harmful stress reactions and promote well-being in daily life.
