A lecture on how creativity can reduce stress and promote well-being
Format: Lecture
Duration: 1–2 hours
Participants: Max 30 participants
Time & Place: By arrangement
Description
Racing heart, sweaty palms, and sleepless nights – many are familiar with the feeling of stress. Whether stress arises from everyday pressures or major personal crises, the brain responds to loss of control and unpredictability by activating the body’s alarm system.
When we pick up a paintbrush, knitting needles, or clay and immerse ourselves in creating, a remarkable change often occurs in the body: symptoms of stress, anxiety, and depression are reduced, and we experience inner calm.
This lecture provides insight into:
How stress affects the brain and body
Why creative processes can reduce stress and enhance well-being
How anyone can use creativity to achieve focus and inner balance
Participants experience a combination of theory and practice, focusing on understanding stress and using creativity as a tool for well-being.
